Application server requirements

Minimum hardware:

• A single 3 GHz processor or faster
• 4 GB RAM.
• Hard drive configuration:
  • One mirrored set of drives, comprised of two 18 GB (minimum) drives, for the operating system.
  • One mirrored set of drives, comprised of two 10 GB (minimum) drives, for TempDB.
  • One RAID 5 stripe set for data files (MDF) having at least 20 GB of available disk space.

For best performance:

• A separate set of mirrored drives for the log files (LDF) with at least 2 GB of available disk space.
• A separate set of drives for TempDB.
• For large amounts of data (more than one million new cardex F4111 records per month), a dedicated server.

Minimum Software:

• Windows Server 2000, 2003 or Windows NT with latest Service Packs.
• Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Standard Service Pack 3 or Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Standard Service Pack 1.
• Additional SQL Server Components:
  • SQL Server 2000 – Enterprise Manager.
  • SQL Server 2005 – Microsoft Management Studio, Business Intelligence Studio and SQL Server Integration Services.

Network recommendations for best performance:

• RapidReconciler should be installed on the same LAN as the JDE source.
• 1 Gbps connectivity between the JDE source and application server.

Client PC requirements

• Windows 2000, XP or Windows Server 2000 or later.
• Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 or later.
• Microsoft Data Access Components Version 2.7 or later.
• Minimum 512MB RAM recommended.
• Pentium III processor or faster.
