Supply Chain Management E-Business Overview
The topic I will be speaking on is titled, "Supply Chain Management E-Business Overview." Within my discussion, I will be defining supply chain management with respect to the value chain and e-business. In addition, I will be exploring e-business opportunities, risks, benefits, and costs, with regard to the supply chain areas of order management, procurement, and logistics. Every "C"-level executive has e-business on his/her agenda, but may not know how to achieve benefits from it, or even get started. There is some "low-hanging fruit" within supply chain management that can help a CEO, CIO, CFO, or COO execute their agenda. Since I have experience implementing these solutions in the business world, I will share actual situations of success and failure
